In other news, waiting for film festival notifications is a nerve-wracking process. It’s literally death by a thousand cuts. Over the course of making MERIT BADGES, I’ve had the honor to work with some of the most amazing and talented folks in the North Carolina film community. I’m so humbled by the whole experience and the lessons I’ve learned through working with this team. From the family members that were blackmailed, to the wonderful cast, the hard-working crew, to those who volunteered time and resources, it’s been an incredible journey getting to know everyone that made this film possible. I am so proud of what we made together and I thank you for being a part of it.
